In 2014, a total of 298,034 non-food items were dispatched to NGO partners. In 2015, warehouse management activities have been focusing on Mogadishu warehouses only. Critical actions in warehouse management include storage (ensuring goods do not deteriorate in the warehouse), safety management, repackaging, and dispatching and accountability measures.
Achievements as of September 2015
AAH-I is managing warehouses in Mogadishu, which are used to store basic items for refugees and returnees, including sleeping mats, cooking utensils and dignity kits for females. These items are ordered from the stores by other implementing partners. To date, AAH-I in Mogadishu has dispatched NFIs (Non Food Items) to UNHCR partners for use by 5,543 people in need. The team is now undertaking the end of year stock take.
